On the occasion of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the City of London will hold the Official Banquet of the China-UK Business Leaders Forum at Guildhall on 3 September, 2019 (Tuesday) to exchange ideas of trending topics of UK-China cooperation and to build a platform for business communication. The CCCUK will support the City of London for this event.
Alderman Peter Estlin, the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor of the City of London, H.E. Liu Xiaoming, Chinese Ambassador to the UK, and Mr. Fang Wenjian, Chairman of the CCCUK, will attend and deliver speeches at the event. On this occasion, the new “UK-China Charity” programme, also as the second China poverty alleviation programme under the UK-China Charity Initiative, will be kicked off jointly by the Lord Mayor’s Appeal (LMA) and the CCCUK. 为庆祝中华人民共和国成立70周年，伦敦金融城将于2019年9月3日（周二）在市政厅（Guildhall）举办“中英商业领袖晚宴”（UK-China Business Leader Dinner），以探讨中英合作热点话题，并为中英工商界加强互利合作搭建沟通平台。英国中国商会作为支持单位，协助伦敦金融城举办此次活动。
活动将邀请伦敦金融城市长Alderman Peter Estlin、中国驻英国大使刘晓明、英国中国商会会长方文建等嘉宾出席并致辞。在本次晚宴期间，伦敦金融城市长倡议（LMA）与英国中国商会将举办“中英公益”新项目启动仪式，正式开启“中英公益”倡议第二个中国扶贫项目。活动详情如下：
