According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, starting from March 15, 2023, Hainan Province in China will resume its visa-free policy for international tourists from 59 eligible countries. The policy allows citizens from those countries, including the UK, to enjoy a 30-day visa-free stay in Hainan. The visa-free period will start from the day after arrival in the province. The resumption of the policy aims to facilitate cross-border travel, boost economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between Hainan and the visa-free countries, and demonstrate the province’s openness to the world. The move is expected to attract more global leading companies’ CEOs, overseas exhibitors, and foreign buyers to the 3rd China International Consumer Products Expo to be held in Haikou, the capital of Hainan in April.
