Founded in 1908, Bank of Communications (BOCOM) was one of oldest banks in China. The Bank was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2005 and on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2007.
BOCOM’s London representative office was set up in 1993, and then in 2011 Bank of Communications (UK) Limited opened. In June 2016, BOCOM London Branch received authorization from PRA and FCA. The Branch is committed to providing financial products and services to both China’s outbound investments and foreign enterprises across EMEA. It is also dedicated to RMB internationalisation and the development of London offshore RMB trading centre by providing Foreign Exchange and rate related products.
