PetroChina International (London) Co., Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). Since its establishment as a UK registered company in April 2002, the company has developed an integrated energy trading business with a primary focus in European and African regions. Through its joint venture companies, the company has a significant presence in European oil trading and refining markets, possessing an annual refining capacity in excess of 21 million tonne and storage capacity more than 370,000cm3 from its JV refineries in the UK and France. The company operates in a wide spectrum of business activities, in addition to oil trading and refining, the company’s businesses also include oil storage and transportation, products marketing and sales, LNG, gas and power trading as well as FX trading, with a geographical coverage of more than 60 countries in Europe and Africa.
