Shanghai Asian Insurance Brokers (UK) Limited (SAIB) was established at the end of 2014. In 2016, with the permission from the FCA, the company was approved to operate in the UK as the first Chinese brokerage firm. In March 2017, after being audited and approved by the Lloyd’s London， SAIB has become a Lloyd’s registered broker.

Since SAIB’s establishment, with the respective advantages of the Sino-British insurance market, SAIB has being providing reinsurance channels for the domestic Chinese customers and insurance companies.

Meanwhile, SAIB can also customize insurance solutions for Chinese enterprises and individuals in the UK, especially the private medical insurance. So far SAIB has established agency partnerships with the major 8 medical insurance companies in the UK to provide the best healthcare insurance products for the Chinese enterprises. The company also provides insurance arrangements and insurance services in property insurance, liability insurance and commercial combined insurance.
