This year marks the 75^thanniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and highlights the ongoing expansion of China’s institutional openness. In this notable year, China Chamber of Commerce in the UK (CCCUK) will release the 2024 Report on the Development of Chinese Enterprises in the UK this November. This marks the 5^thconsecutive year that CCCUK has conducted a survey on the business conditions of Chinese enterprises in the UK.

This year’s annual report, based on a questionnaire survey of Chinese enterprises in the UK and in-depth interviews with both Chinese and British business leaders, will showcase the steady development and remarkable achievements of Chinese enterprises in the UK. It will also objectively reflect the opportunities and challenges they encounter in their business operations. While maintaining a focus on the development of the Chinese enterprises in the UK, this annual report will also highlight cases where Chinese and British enterprises have achieved mutual benefits through reciprocal cooperation, whether in China, the UK, or even in third countries or regions. The report aims to serve as an important reference for Chinese enterprises in the UK, aiding them in making strategic decisions and amplifying their voices. Additionally, it will also provide a solid foundation for the CCCUK to offer informed advise to both the Chinese and British governments.
